The fruit was hand harvested, de-stemmed with no crushing into our open top fermenters. Each lot was handled separately with a cold soak lasting from 3-10 days. We allow up to a 50% “Wild” ferment before inoculating with our cultured yeast. Extreme care is taken with temperature during fermentation as Pinot has a tendency to boil over. We want to extend the maceration period which enables us the best possible extraction.

Tasting Notes:

The 2014 Pinot Noir is medium garnet in color featuring intense aromas of Cherry, Cranberry and Spice. Bright fruit flavors of fresh Red Berries, Orange Zest and Clove are complimented with the wines lively acidity and subtle

  1. The best of BC 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2016 Oct 31st

The first time I tried this lovely Pinot Noir I knew it was a winner. Since then it has won medals and for good reason it is without question the best Pinot Noir in BC, dare I say Canada. Deliciously balanced and a lovely finish. Thank you Eau Vivre for bringing the amazing Similkameen Valley terroir to life.
